Project ID 513RLA2026

The present Small-Scale Activity aims to carry out an initial assessment and mapping of coastal vulnerability in the Archipielago de Juan Fernandez, Galapagos and Noroeste Amotapes-Manglares Biosphere Reserves, as well as potential nature-based solutions. The project will also generate an exchange of experience among MAB national focal points/committees, biosphere reserve managers and academic institutions (universities), as well as between MAB, IOC communities and the Government of Flanders. This activity will serve as a pilot case in order to design a large-scale project proposal. The duration of the project will be 8 months.
