Project ID 567UKR4000

The project aims to strengthen Ukraine's response for the urgent protection of cultural heritage in wartime and its subsequent capacity for reconstruction and enhanced protection. Due to their international recognition as properties whose protection is under the responsibility of the international community, the project will focus primarily on properties inscribed on the World Heritage List and sites on Ukraine's Tentative List, all of which are also protected under the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and its two (1954 and 1999) Protocols.
