The project aims to disseminate and enhance the culture and history of African peoples among the school community, in line with the implementation of National Law, which establishes the mandatory theme "Afro-Brazilian History and Culture" in the national education curriculum in Brazil. The project's main activity is translating into Portuguese and the publication of volumes IX, X, and XI of the General History of Africa Collection. The target audience includes teachers from the public school system, the school community, education professionals and managers, human rights professionals, researchers, general managers, and others interested in the education of ethnic-racial relations.
