This activity will support the capacity of the cultural and creative industries to become drivers and enablers of sustainable growth and employment through the effective implementation of the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and the 1980 Recommendation concerning the Status of the Artist. Culture policies of the target Member States, as integral components supporting the implementation of the Convention will be updated and implemented during this activity, as well as the encouragement of the participation of women in cultural and creative industries.
