Project ID 2210411031

Initiated in 2018, Art-Lab for human rights and dialogue consists of 4 pillars: 1- the Platform, a network of activists in intercultural dialogue, cultural and human rights. 2- An Observatory: documenting and analyzing ethical artistic practices for social cohesion and peacekeeping processes. 3- The preparation of a Guide to be published with the OHCHR for humanitarian and development operators. 4- The "Fabrique" in support of inclusive policies through artistic practice. Informed by, and based on, the Art Lab project, the UNSG entrusted UNESCO in 2021 with the preparation of a UN Plan to mainstream the arts and culture across programmes. In this regard, UNESCO will develop and implement an inclusive strategy for peacebuilding and human rights' advancement within relevant UN programmes.
