This activity contributes to step up the competencies of the SHS sector in policy support and capacity-building for public policies in Member States, through evidence-informed advice, and working with the vast network of knowledge partners, intergovernmental mechanisms, governments and social actors. Through the interventions of this SHS will leverage on the links with policymakers embedded in the MOST programme and in the monitoring process of the 2017 Recommendation on Science and Scientific Researchers aimed at supporting policy change and strengthening national science, technology and innovation capacities against benchmarks derived from the Recommendation.
