A secondment by the Republic of Korea (RoK) Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transportation (MoLIT) of a Senior Programme Specialist will support UNESCO's activities in water sciences and in particular the thematic area of Water for Human Settlements of the Future. The secondee will provide guidance in the thematic area, enhance cooperation with RoK and MoLIT and be responsible for the implementation of a project on Climate Change and Water Security. In particular, in the development of policies and countermeasures to support Member States to reduce their water sector's vulnerability to climate change and strengthen their human resources capacities.
