Anissa joined the GEM Report team in 2015 as finance officer. Before joining the team, she worked for development aid organizations in Kenya, Uganda, Cambodia, DRC, Rwanda and Burundi. She has held various finance and auditing roles and worked closely with national CSOs in East and Central Africa.

She holds a Bachelor of Public Management Degree and has a Master’s Degree in Cooperation & Development.
