The overall purpose of the work plan is to promote inclusive education in the policy, planning, curriculum, textbooks, and teacher training. It will facilitate an assessment of the status quo of the right to education in Bangladesh in line with SDG 4 targets to prepare for the updating and revision of national legislative and policy documents including the National Education Policy 2010. It will also focus on Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education through a review of the effectiveness of textbooks developed in five ethnic minority languages and explore the feasibility of developing textbooks expanding to other ethnic minority languages. In addition, it will contribute to the celebration of ILD, IMLD, WTD, and IDE in Bangladesh with different government entities.
