性别平等与教育
从入读到赋权
性别平等是教科文组织的全球优先事项之一。虽然我们已经取得长足进步,但教育方面巨大的性别差距仍不鲜见,通常是女童利益没有得到照顾,当然不排除有些地区男童处于不利地位。目前在全世界有1.27亿女童和1.32亿男童失学。在所有成年文盲人口中,女性仍然占到近三分之二。
教科文组织呼吁在教育系统的各个环节关注性别平等问题,包括入学、教学内容、教学环境和教育实践、学习成果,以及生活和工作机会方面。这项工作在《联合国教科文组织促进教育领域性别平等及通过教育促进性别平等战略(2019-2025)》和《性别平等行动计划》的指导下进行,侧重于全系统转变,以期在3个关键领域平等地惠及所有学习者:用更好的数据来支撑行动,用更好的法律和政策框架来保障权利,用更好的教学实践来提升权能。
