Project ID 2210245011

Science, technology and innovation (STI) is recognized by the global community as a key element for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs. By developing evidence-based, participatory and inclusive STI policies, and by bridging the gap between STI and policy, countries in Central America will be supported to achieve sustainability within the 2030 Agenda. Building institutional and human capacity to harness the potential of STI is crucial. UNESCO will foster networking opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, enhancing international scientific cooperation and mobilizing multi-stakeholder participation to promote science, technology and innovation aligned with the SDGs' specific STI-related targets, and with regional and national development agendas.
