Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) is the expression of communities' ingenuity in response to their natural and socio-economic context. In this regard the inventory plays a central role in safeguarding of ICH of Humanity. Currently none of the UNESCO New Delhi Cluster member states has the inventory in ICH, making it most pressing and crucial items in the implementation of the 2003 Convention in this sub-region. For the biennium 2022-2023, UNESCO New Delhi is proposing a sub-regional workshop to build capacity in the implementation of the UNESCO 2003 Convention, in particular with a focus on the community led inventory and research, which will be based on the Overall Regional Framework (core indicators 7,8,9 and 10)
