Project ID 2210214041

This activity will support the consolidation and development of the four subregional MAB networks covering the majority of member states in the region, as well as the rapidly developing regional network of UNESCO Global Geoparks. Particular emphasis will be placed on enabling the region's MAB Community, Biosphere Reserves and other UNESCO-designated sites fully implement the final four years of the MAB Strategy (2022-2025), to serve as sites for the localization of the SDGs, connecting the global goals with national UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks and in-situ implementation.
