y acting as the focal point for ocean sciences within the United Nations system, IOC will continue to engage in relevant United Nations inter-agency activities aimed at providing assistance to Member States in the implementation of 2030 Agenda, in accordance with IOC's custodianship role in relation to SDG 14, as well as the implementation of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, the SAMOA Pathway, and Sendai Disaster Reduction Framework. This activity will also support the IOC role as coordinator for the UN Decade of Ocean Sciences for Sustainable Development
