Project ID 650RER0003

The Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe (Venice) is unique in that it has two governing bodies to help monitor and plan the use of the voluntary annual contribution received from the Italian Government, as set out in Italian Law n.163 (1997). The Scientific Council provides advice on the design and implementation of the programme, while the Steering Committee provides oversight on both the programme and the budget. Both bodies should meet regularly once per year with additional meetings ad-hoc as needed to ensure the smooth functioning of the Office in Venice.
