Project ID TOG0115530

In Togo, people's livelihoods and security are often closely linked to the biological resources of their environment. However, the diversity of these biological resources is rapidly disappearing due to population growth, the resulting increased change in land use, and other factors. By diversifying local economies in and around the park Fazao-Malfakassa, through the introduction of alternative livelihoods and income-generating activities (biodiversity-friendly businesses), supporting women and youth in particular, this project aims to contribute to biodiversity conservation, poverty reduction and the promotion of sustainable development in the northern region of Togo.
