This project aims to stimulate youth civic engagement by empowering youth with media and information literacy (MIL). Two main components: 1) youth as peer educators through the MIL CLICKS social media innovation and 2) Strengthening the capacity of youth-led organizations to integrate MIL in their daily operations. Youth and youth-led organizations in the target countries will have enhanced knowledge and capacities on MIL, and thus be involved in countering disinformation and hate speech online, preventing violent extremism, promoting dialogue, peace, etc.
