Project ID 555RAS2023

The project accelerates the implementation of good governance and management principles for freshwater and biodiversity resources in Asia and the Pacific. Supported by the best available science, this will be achieved through reinforced engagement by UNESCO's scientific networks, linked to the implementation of site-based good governance initiatives at biosphere reserves, HELP basins, ecohydrology demonstration sites and other UNESCO-designated locations in Asia and the Pacific. Regional UNESCO scientific networks will serve as hubs for the transfer of knowledge and technologies.
