الفهم والتثقيف والحماية: ركائز مخطط اليونسكو للمحيطات
تعقد اليونسكو وإسبانيا هذا العام مؤتمراً رئيسياً لعقد المحيطات في برشلونة من 10 إلى 12 نيسان/أبريل بغية تعزيز الربط الشبكي والحوار وتحديد الأولويات المشتركة للإجراءات التي سوف تُتخذ في المستقبل في مجال استدامة المحيطات. ويعد هذا المؤتمر مرحلة رئيسية في التحضير لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الرفيع المستوى للمحيطات الذي سوف يُعقد في مدينة نيس (فرنسا) في عام 2025.

UNESCO is also a partner of the G20 for the first time, and will be taking part in the G20 and G7 discussions.
