Mirela Hrovatin is a Senior Expert Anthropologist in the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media working in the field of intangible cultural heritage safeguarding. She also works as an Assistant Professor at the Catholic University of Croatia, conducts scientific research within various projects and publishes regularly papers at national and international level. From 2011 until 2015 she was a representative of Croatia in UNESCO Center for ICH of SE Europe in Bulgaria. She is a member of several expert networks including PILNET (EASA), INASEA, ENFP (ICH), Croatian Ethnological Society and Croatian Mariological Institute.
