The Management of Social Transformations (MOST) Programme is an intergovernmental science programme that builds the knowledge-policy nexus for positive social change. MOST strengthens the link between what we know and how we act on it. The substantive aim is to promote a reset along a more inclusive path by tackling inequalities in its social, economic, environmental, and technological dimensions.

The MOST IGC convenes biennially to take stock of key achievements and articulates future courses of action, including research priority areas and programme strategy. The Extraordinary Session will discuss its contributions to the social agenda and strengthen engagement with Member States for inclusive governance.

Alongside the IGC, the MOST Forum 2024 will convene thought leaders, policymakers, and innovators to engage in reflective dialogues on how governments navigate complexities to implement effective change in governance for inclusion (17 June 2024, Room II, UNESCO Paris).
