This workshop was organised in Lubombo region with the following multifaceted objectives:
· Re-affirm capacity of both the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee (NICHC) and Regional Intangible Cultural Heritage Committee (RICHC)
· inventory at least four ICH elements (six were inventoried), and
· create synerge between the NICHC and the RICHC.

The workshop was conducted entirely by the national experts/trainers trained in the previous capacity building exercises.

This activity is part a second phase of the ICH project financed by the Government of Flanders and implemented by the UNESCO Field Office in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Section at the UNESCO Headquarter provided technical support throughout the process of the activity.
