The President of the General Assembly is convening a meeting to observe the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 18 March 2016 at United Nations Headquarters at 11:00 a.m. The keynote speech will be given by Mr. Ahmed Reid, Member of the UN Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent. The event will be webcast live on UN Web TV.
