‘No Frills’ is a well-known annual national conference where researchers and practitioners in the VET sector come together to present, discuss and share information about key issues confronting the sector.

At the national conference, the new Kenyan UNEVOC Network member Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) positions itself as a major player in implementation of Kenya's vision to become a newly industrialised middle income country in 2030. The UNEVOC Network welcomes its two newest members, the National Council for the Federal Network of Vocational, Scientific and Technological Education Institutions (Conif) in Brazil, and the Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) in Kenya.

Yaba College of Technology, School of Art, Design & Printing in collaboration with Nigeria Bottling Company Ltd organized the 2016 Coca Cola Bottle competition on 16th December 2016. The competition was opened to students and was an avenue to showcase the different TVET skills and talents.
