The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) has established the UIL Alumni Network with an aim to develop a mutually beneficial and enduring relationship between the Institute and its alumni. This will be an all-in-one tool for communication, innovation and collaboration. It will allow alumni to be regularly updated about UIL activities, research, capacity building, networking and publications, and to exchange information and benefit from valuable contacts, career opportunities and cooperation. Similarly, UIL will profit from the expertise of the alumni and their promotion of UIL’s mission, and will be able to invite them to upcoming events, seminars and conferences.

The UIL Alumni Network is open to the following: former UIL interns, UIL scholars, UIL fellows, UIL staff members, UIL consultants, UIL visiting researchers, UIL honorary fellows.

UIL hopes that the Alumni Network will become an active networking hub for sharing information internationally, increasing the efficiency and sustainability of international cooperation in lifelong learning, and strengthening the visibility of UIL’s work.

If you are an alumnus/alumna and wish to join the Network, please send your updated data to UIL Programme Specialist Christiana Nikolitsa-Winter, at uil-alumni@unesco.org.
