Event and Award Ceremony of UNESCO/Emir Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Prize for Digital Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) has been commemorated since 1992 to promote awareness and mobilize support for critical issues relating to the inclusion of persons with disabilities in society and development.

The 2018 UNESCO/Emir Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Prize for Digital Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities will be attributed to the winners on 3 December 2018 in a ceremony at UNESCO Headquarters from 3.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

In cooperation with Government of the State of Kuwait, the UNESCO/Emir Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah Prize for Digital Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities aims to reward the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations that promote inclusion and the enhancement of the lives of persons with disabilities in society through the effective, innovative and inclusive application of digital solutions.

3 décembre 2018 - Evénement et cérémonie de remise du Prix UNESCO/Emir Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah pour l’autonomisation des personnes handicapées par les technologies numériques

La Journée internationale des personnes handicapées est commémorée depuis 1992 afin de promouvoir la sensibilisation et mobiliser des soutiens sur les questions cruciales relatives à l'inclusion des personnes handicapées dans la société et le développement.

En coopération avec le gouvernement de l’Etat du Koweït, le Prix UNESCO/Emir Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah pour l’autonomisation des personnes handicapées par les technologies numériques sera remis cette année aux grands gagnants le 3 décembre  2018, lors d’une cérémonie organisée au siège de l’UNESCO de 15h00 à 19h30, à l’occasion de la Journée internationale des personnes handicapées.

Le Prix UNESCO/Emir Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah pour l’autonomisation des personnes handicapées par les technologies numériques vise à récompenser les contributions remarquables de personnes et d’organisations qui promeuvent l’intégration et l’amélioration de la vie des personnes handicapées dans la société grâce à l’application efficace, innovante et inclusive de solutions numériques.
