On 7 September, the Iranian Creative City hosted a TEDx event under the theme “Untold Stories of Isfahan”. This event offered a series of eight lectures by thinkers and experts from different walks of life and from a variety of fields, including science, entrepreneurship and creativity, with the aim to share their vision and experience of Isfahan and its communities.

Many of the interventions echoed to the Sustainable Development Goals, by focusing on renewable energy resources, on how to optimize their use at the city and the country level, and what are the impacts of technologies on economic growth. Discussions about enhancing tourism in the suburbs and in villages highlighted the opportunities in terms of employment, social inclusion, security and resilience in cities.
