Resources collected at the Documentation Centre are part of the IBE knowledge base on curricula and education systems. This comprehensive set of specialized resources is at the service of capacity development and decision-making for quality education for all. IBE documents and publications can be consulted through the electronic catalogue UNESDOC.
The Centre has developed alerting services and digests of online resources including reports, publications, websites, and news which are regularly made available to the IBE network of curriculum specialists in over 100 countries, as well as other education specialists.
The Documentation Centre also maintains and develops the UNESCO–IBE Education Thesaurus, a tool for indexing and retrieving educational data recorded in electronic databases, which is used by many educational documentation centres around the world.
