Carrara, a UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art organized the fourth edition of White Carrara Downtown, a week-long festival that highlights the unique cultural capital of the city and its surroundings.

Dedicated to white marble and its creative use, the event aims to enhance the cultural identity of Carrara through an urban museum itinerary punctuated by various experiences such as art installations and performances, exhibitions, theater and opera, and craft workshops open to the public.

In line with its campaign #destinazionecarrara, special tourist packages are being offered to allow interested visitors to explore the area via guided and thematic paths. Amongst these, cultural walks have been designed to promote a different way of doing culture and discover the city’s hidden gem and historic center. Through a narrative voice, visitors are invited to explore further the most unusual aspects of monuments, views, and private and public spaces in the city.
