Anissa Mechtar

Anissa has been working with international aid and development organisations in various finance roles over a period of 8 years. She has worked in Kenya, Uganda, Cambodia, Congo, Rwanda and Burundi and has extensive experience in ensuring sound financial management at different organisation levels.

She has undertaken a wide range of consultancies from auditing, capacity building to financial process change management. She has been working as a finance consultant and has been instrumental in the improved performance of complex DFID Education projects through financial process improvements, the establishment of a risk based approach culture and structured capacity building plans.
