Santos Bandung Film Festival Puts the Spotlight on Sustainable Development Goals

Santos Bandung Film Festival Puts the Spotlight on Sustainable Development Goals

When:
Thu, 10/19/2017

Santos, Brazil, a Creative City of Film, and Bandung, Indonesia, a Creative City of Design are coming together to organize the Santos Bandung Film Festival (SBFF) from 20 to 29 October 2017.

As a result of a collaboration between the two 2015-designated UNESCO Creative Cities, the Santos Bandung Film Festival will showcase a selection of 34 films providing reflections and discussions towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

This most innovative inter-city cooperation not only aims to broaden opportunities for filmmakers to exchange ideas, critics and learnings, but to provide access to cultural life and cultural diversity to citizens of both the cities through messages of peace and tolerance.
