Schools

UNESCO is uniting schools around the world to take action against waste.  Trash Hack: Action learning for sustainable development is a guide for teachers to engage their students to trash hack their classrooms, schools, communities and homes. Find out more about the guide and register here to join the campaign!

UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet)

The guide was developed by the Section of Education for Sustainable Development and the Unit for the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) in UNESCO’s Division for Peace and Sustainable Development.

Over 11,500 educational institutions in over 180 countries are part of this unique network, established in 1953.

ASPnet is proud to partner with the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) for the Trash Hack campaign, and welcomes all other schools to join them in trash hacking!
