Details

As defined by its renewed mandate, one of UNESCO-IBE’s priorities is to enhance the capacity of Member States to effectively lead and implement curriculum transformation and innovations processes. In particular, the IBE strives to support the implementation of Master’s/Postgraduate Diploma programmes in curriculum, learning, and related issues, in partnership with universities located in different regions.

The Faculty of Education of the Open University of Tanzania (OUT) is launching for this fall a call for applications for the Master’s Degree in Curriculum Design Development (M.ED CDD). The blended learning programme is offered through a partnership between OUT and UNESCO-IBE.

The programme, at the different exit levels, targets to strengthen the capacities of curriculum developers, teacher educators, graduate serving teachers, school inspectors, examination officers as well as educational planners and policy-makers at the local and regional levels to enhance their competencies in understanding, leading, researching, planning, designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the curriculum and decision making about curriculum and education in general.
