Promoting Inclusive Teacher Education: Advocacy Guides (Nepalese)

The original Advocacy Guides in English has been adapted to the Nepal context, translated into Nepalese and published in 2015 by the Faculty of Education of Tribhuvan University and Aasaman Nepal, in close collaboration with the Inclusive Education Section of the Department of Education, with support of UNESCO Kathmandu Office and UNESCO Bangkok Office. The complete set of the Nepalese version contains a series of five guides designed for anyone who wants to do advocacy work to bring about improvements in pre-service teacher education towards more inclusive education specifically in Nepal. The guides discuss challenges and barriers to inclusive education in different areas of teacher education and outline ideas for advocates to consider and adapt according to their specific contexts for effective advocacy towards more inclusive practices.
