The Teacher Task Force is a multi-stakeholder partnership of entirely voluntary nature, with, as of October 2017, 131 members including:
- National Governments (all World regions), represented by designated officials: 85
- Intergovernmental Organizations at global, regional or sub-regional levels and UN agencies: 19
- International Non-Governmental Organizations, Civil Society Organizations and global teachers organizations: 19
- Bilateral and multilateral international development agencies: 2
- Global private sector organizations and foundations: 6
Each member of the Task Force appoints a focal point who can represent his or her country/organization and will take responsibility for the interactions between the Task Force and the country/organization
