Lutz Grünthal was born on 22 November 1928. During the war he was in the occupied Netherlands. On 4 September 1944 he was deported to Theresienstadt ghetto from where on 23 October 1944 he was deported to #Auschwitz. He was murdered there.

In March 1943 Janina Nowak was again arrested and two months later imprisoned in #Auschwitz with a new number - 31529. She was later transferred to #Ravensbrück where she was liberated.
