On 17 October, Bucheon, Creative City of Literature, organized a workshop dedicated to the Korean Creative Cities, in cooperation with the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. 
From 11 to 17 November 2019, the Creative City of Gastronomy of Rasht hosts the Pumpkin Festival, an iconic event to explore the culinary traditions of the city through…pumpkins! The festival, organized by the municipality of Rasht and its Cultural, Social and Sports Organization, showcases several types of pumpkin from different countries around the world, as well as local gastronomic products which use pumpkin as the main ingredient, as in the case of several Iranian traditional dishes.
The Centre of Arts of the Creative City of Enghien-les-Bains has recently designed a MOOC on Art and Digital Creation, in collaboration with the Orange Foundation. This free online course, which will be available until 2024 aims at raising awareness among cultural professionals and the general public about the many facets of digital creation, by exploring the approach of French and international artists and experts.
The BIAAF - Bilbao International Art & Fashion Platform – inaugurated on 10 October the seventh edition of its international fashion design competition, which will last until 16 December 2019. This 30 October 2019, 66 cities have been designated as UNESCO Creative Cities by the Director-General of UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay. As laboratories of ideas and innovative practices, the UNESCO Creative Cities bring a tangible contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through innovative thinking and action.
From 18 to 27 October 2019, a new edition of the Open Design Afrika will be held in Cape Town (South Africa), a UNESCO Creative City of Design. This festival focuses on innovation, education and community as the building blocks of a sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous society.
